In the summer holidays in 2005 and 2006 I did volunteer work in Bulgaria. We renovated a orphanage in a small village.
It was the first time in my life that I went alone on holiday. This experience has enriched my life.
Because I stayed for three weeks on the same place it was possible to meet the local people over a longer time and really get in contact with them.
