I am working as an independent software developer and system administrator since 2018.

I have done larger projects and I have teached about Linux and open source. Further I have done admistration tasks for different non-profit organisations.

Additional functions for das ERP System of Conluto

For Conluto, a company that produces clay plasters, I programmed additional functionality for their ERP System. The ERP System has build by a company (Softbauware) and it was possible to program extra functionality with scripts.

Development of a WordPress Plugin for a networking platform about sustainable initiatives.

In 2020 I developed a networking platform „Lippe von Morgen“ in WordPress. The platform was created for sustainable initiatives and companies from the region. They could register themselves and report about their activities on the website. Further they could publish their events, it was even possible to automatically sync their events from their own websites to the platform.

All the added content on the platform will be transported to the Map of Tommorow and published there. The Map of Tommorow (Karte von Morgen) is a nationwide map where innovative initatives and companies are represented.

The WordPress Plugin that I developed for this platform is responsible for downloading the events from the websites of the initiatives and companies and uploading to the Map of Tommorow.

Later, the plugin is used on many other platforms in other regions of Germany.

Linux and Open Source

I had worked intensiv with the Linux operating system during an internship. It was my job to create a Thin Client based on Linux. Since then my world could no longer be imagined without Linux. Inspired by Linux I decided to share my knowledge and in 2020 I started teachings about Linux und Open Source.

Administration und support

Particularly in the area of Open Source I like to support people by using Open Source software and Linux. For some non-profit organisations I have created the digital infrastructure for Email and Cloud-systems based on Nextcloud.
